Today is the publication of the first issue of The Working Title, the brand new literary magazine of the College of the Sequoias, published by The Quill Creative Writing Club. Besides poetry, fiction, and nonfiction, it contains pictures and fun activities such as a crossword puzzle. It costs $3.00.
Today, we had our readings, too - excerpts from the literary magazine. The first event was the Cinco de Mayo celebration and the second was Noche de Artistas.

The Meaning of "Sulat"
FYI, "Sulat" is the Tagalog word for "write" or "letter" (the latter is the kind you get in the mail).
I write poetry, fiction (novels and short stories), nonfiction, PBs, and... letters. Currently, I am an editor of a new literary magazine, called The Working Title. We actually have public readings for the first issue of the magazine tomorrow. Sales will begin on April 26.
